FREE Park and Ride

If you are planning on attending the Shibden Spooktacular, free parking is provided at Eureka! CHildren’s Museum in Halifax (next to the train station). The FREE Park and Ride system will consist of regular busses running from the Eureka! car park to Shibden Hall and back.

There are multiple busses which will be dedicated to getting people safely to and from the event. The first bus departs from Eureka at 5.15pm and they will be constantly running to and from the event. The last bus is expected to leave at 9.15pm when the event finishes.

This Park and Ride service is absolutely free. You will not have to pay for parking your vehicle at Eureka (after 5:00pm), nor for the bus to or from the Shibden Spooktacular at Shibden Hall.

How To Get To Eureka!

Car

Eureka! is in Halifax, which is about halfway between Leeds and Manchester. Leave the M62 at jct 24, follow A629 to Halifax, then follow brown tourist signs to Eureka!

Bus

Eureka! is about 5 minutes walk from Halifax Bus Station, which is serviced by regular local bus services. For details call Metroline: 0113 245 7676 or visit the Metro Website.

Train
